Carissa Turner
My name is Carissa Turner a 21 year old professional badminton player.
I have played badminton for the best part of 14years & I recently represented Wales at the Commonwealth Games 2010.
When I first began to model & organise my own TFP shoots I fell in love with it. The rush & excitment of a shoot is unique & second to none. Having said that, since beginning modelling I have also been involved with some filming & have realised that is the path I would prefer to take. I've always loved the thought of being a TV Presenter & beginning modelling has given me the confidence to do so. I am an outgoing, likeable girl & truly feel I would be a good presenter given the opportunity. Playing badminton has taught me confidence & shows my drive for success. But it has also taught me how to work as part of a team & how to communicate with different characters - especially when coaching.
I'm confident I can survive the harshness of the media world as I'm used to critique & have learnt to be mentally strong through badminton.
I've created this website to showcase my entire portfolio, not only the best shot from each look but all shots from that look.
